The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Parliamentary Caucus meeting has begun in the Central Hall of Parliament. He will try to reach a consensus on the division of ministries. Other leaders of NDA allies including Nitish Kumar and Chirag Paswan are also participating in it.


BJP MPs Prahlad Patel, Bhartrihari Mahtab, Nishikant Dubey, Kangana Ranaut, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Annamalai and Sudha Murthy have reached Parliament House to participate in this meeting. A meeting of Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of various states of the party will be held at the BJP headquarters this evening. In which there will be a discussion about the performance of the party.


On the other hand, the meeting of JDU and LJP (R), two major allies of NDA in Delhi, has ended. 12 JDU MPs have authorized Nitish Kumar as the party's parliamentary party leader. LJP (R) has chosen party chief Chirag Paswan as the leader of the parliamentary party.


According to sources, the alliance leaders will present their claim to form the government today after the NDA meeting is over in the central hall of Parliament. Modi may take oath as Prime Minister for the third time at Rashtrapati Bhavan on June 9 at 6 pm. There is news that the entire cabinet can take oath with Modi.




The first NDA meeting was held on June 5 at 4 pm at the PM residence. 21 leaders of 16 parties participated in the one-hour meeting. Everyone chose Modi as the leader of NDA. But Modi will be officially chosen as the leader of the NDA in the parliamentary party meeting to be held today.


He submitted his resignation to the President on Wednesday itself. The President accepted his resignation and dissolved the 17th Lok Sabha. However, Modi is the acting Prime Minister until a new government is formed.


The BJP does not have a majority with the support of 53 MPs from 14 allies



BJP has got 240 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. This is 32 seats short of the majority figure (272). However, the NDA crossed the majority mark with 293 seats. NDA has 53 MPs from 14 allied parties besides BJP.


Chandrababu's TDP is the second largest party in the alliance with 16 seats and Nitish's JDU is the third largest party with 12 seats. Both parties are necessary for BJP at this time. It is difficult for BJP to form a government without him.
